The movie adaptation of comedian Steve Harvey's relationship guide Think Like A Man has stunned Hollywood by landing a second week at the top of the box office.
The ensemble comedy, featuring Kevin Hart, Gabrielle Union and Michael Ealy, crashed in at number one last week (22Apr12) and kept four new films from the top on Sunday (29Apr12), thanks to a healthy second weekend take of $18 million (Gbp11.2 million).
The film has now made over $60 million (Gbp37.5 million) in 10 days.
Romantic comedy The Five-Year Engagement was expected to debut at number one, but opened in third place with a disappointing $11.2 million (Gbp7 million). The Pirates! Band of Misfits opened in second place with a $11.4 million (Gbp7 million) opening weekend.
Jason Statham's latest action film Safe and John Cusack's turn as writer Edgar Allen Poe in The Raven both underwhelmed at the U.S. box office with $7.7 million (Gbp4.8 million) and $7.3 million (Gbp4.5 million), respectively.
