BIG LEBOWSKI star Steve Buscemi was so convinced he would never make it as an actor - he turned into a tearaway teenager.
Buscemi, who played MR PINK in Reservoir Dogs, spent his formative years in a sleepy town in Long Island, New York where he wreaked havoc with his pals, stealing alcohol and committing petty crimes.
He admits, "Theatre was a dream that I was harbouring, but I never ever thought that you could even deserve to dream about it.
"That's common in people who don't grow up around artists. You feel like it's not your world, it's a closed world and you can't enter it."01/07/2003 02:32
