Producer Steve Bing has purchased yet another house in a block of high-scale homes he's been buying one by one.
Bing, heir to an estimated $600 million (GBP333 million) New York real estate fortune, just closed a deal on the Bel Air, California, home for $13 million (GBP7.2 million).
The six-bedroom, seven-bathroom house sits on slightly more than two acres with a pool.
In August 2002, Bing, father of Elizabeth Hurley's son DAMIAN, bought a neighbouring five-bedroom house, on two acres, for about $8 million (GBP4.4 million).
While it is unknown what Bing plans to do with the properties, sources say he will tear down the larger houses and live in an existing home on the street. Others say he will turn the vacant lots into a private park.19/02/2004 13:39
