Face The Truth

All I can say is that this guy is a sure fire legend, he has his place in rock history so he has nothing to prove and this being his third solo album surley shows that he has full creative power with anything he touches. This guy after all is the original Beck and make the Eels look all rather amateur. This is the sort of person who in the future will have hoards of people claming he changed their little lives, similar to the resurrection every so often with many classic bands. Like with the recent uprising of The Cure, or The Smiths or even The Rolling Stones.

Anyway this album is very, very interesting and is (as usual) quite strange. From the electro dawdling in Pencil Pot to the slack anthem of I’ve Hardly Been its great and make you want to go home early and sit and listen to it on your own. This album is a grower, the more it’s on your stereo the more you want it to be played on every medium you see possible. If you like slack, lack music this will by all means tickle you fancy. A dazzler in all it light.

9/10
