Fashion designer Stella Mccartney has created a $540,000 (GBP300,000) horse sculpture, as a tribute to her late mother LINDA.

Stella, daughter of Linda and former BEATLE Sir Paul McCartney, has the three metre (10 foot) tall horse - made from 3,000 crystals - on display, suspended from the ceiling of the 14th century home, BELSAY HALL, in Northumberland, England.

The 32-year-old says, "I loved working in a historical setting to create something with a modern edge."
