Stacey Solomon is pregnant.
The 22-year-old star - who has a three-year-old son Zac from a previous relationship - admits she was nervous about telling her boyfriend, 24-year-old painter Aaron Barham, that she was expecting his child as it wasn't planned, but they are both looking forward to the new arrival.
She said: "I was nervous because we weren't planning a child. But the first thing he did was smile. As soon as I saw that, I knew everything would be OK.
"We are really excited. And I'm really looking forward to everything, knowing I am sharing it with the person I want to spend my life with."
Stacey - who is almost three months pregnant - currently has no trace of a bump but is expecting to "swell up" as her pregnancy progresses, and admits she doesn't enjoy the experience of carrying a child.
She told The Sun newspaper: "I really swell up. I was huge before. It was weird - I got to five months then just exploded. I just know I'll go the same way again. I'm definitely not one of these earth mother types.
"It's just not fun. You are constantly hot and sweaty, nothing tastes good, you can't wear the latest fashions and nothing looks good on you.
"Then there's the massive carb face that I get, which I know will be arriving any day. What's to like?"
The former 'x factor' runner-up is desperate to find out the sex of her baby so she can't start planning for the new arrival.
Stacey added: "I'm impatient. I can't wait to find out. I'm definitely one of those people who feel their Christmas presents.
"Zac's bedroom is a lovely blue and I want to be able to prepare for the baby. I don't want to be buying all white."
