The landlord of the Broadway theatre housing SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK is reportedly looking for new tenants after the musical was hit by a slew of bad reviews.
Foxwoods Theatre manager Erich Jungwirth is said to have offered the space to a number of producers looking for a stage, according to the New York Post.
The publication reports that Jungwirth has not yet found another client interested in renting the venue if bosses choose to shut the Spider-Man production early.
The $65 million (£43.3 million) show, directed by Julie Taymor and featuring music by U2's Bono and The Edge, has struggled through numerous setbacks, while a preview showing on Sunday (28Nov10) was branded an "epic flop".
The production is due to open officially in January (11).
