The Spice Girls have held talks about a reunion, according to Mel C.

The 41-year-old singer - who starred in the group alongside Mel B, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Victoria Beckham - has admitted they've staged talks about a possible comeback and she's even identified Hyde Park as the ideal venue.

Mel - who is also known as Sporty Spice - said: ''We've talked about it, but we just haven't got our act together.

''We're a bit useless. But performing at Hyde Park would be amazing.

''I went to see Taylor Swift there this year and it was so wonderful. It was a really good, fun gig. I think for the Spice Girls that would be appropriate. It's a bit more friendly.''

She said, though, that the group are unlikely to be ready in time to perform at the annual Brit Awards next year, despite speculation to the contrary.

Mel told the Daily Mirror newspaper: ''There's definitely no chance we'll get our act together by then.

''It's a shame, actually. We need to stop procrastinating and get on with something.''

The group famously reunited for the London Olympics in 2012, performing songs such as 'Wannabe' and 'Spice Up Your Life'.
