Loren teamed up with the late actor for the film, which reportedly got off to a bad start when Brando told the screen beauty he could see hair up her nostrils during a love scene in the comedy.
But things took a turn for the worse when Brando got physical with Loren, which was required in the script.
She recalls, "One day we were doing a scene in the film with CHARLIE Chaplin, and he had to pat my back. I said, 'Don't do that, because I don't like it,' before shooting.
"So he did it while we were shooting and I said, 'Don't do that ever again because I'm going to slap you right in your face!' So he was very upset about it.
"I said, 'Why did you do that? Don't you like women? Why don't you like women? Why did you do that to me? I didn't do anything to you.' He calmed down a little bit and then we went on with the scene and everything was alright."
She adds, "I never had the chance really to know him very well. Marlon was a very difficult person to know... Great, great actor, but a little bit confused inside of himself. It's not his fault, it's nature."06/12/2004 08:53
