Rapper Snoop Dogg isn't planning a big bash for his 40th birthday later this year (11), because he is more interested in spending quality time with his grandmother.
The hip-hop star will reach the landmark age in October (11), but instead of plotting a glitzy party for his star-studded friends, he wants to enjoy a quiet family get-together.
The Drop It Like It's Hot hitmaker also reveals that his loved ones are more bothered about his birthday than he is.
He tells Britain's Daily Star, "More people worry about my birthday than I do. I'm more concerned about my grandmother's birthday, my wife's birthday. I'm more about giving.
"I'm not into doing things for myself because a lot of great things have already happened to me. To be alive and spend time with my grandma is enough."
