Snoop Dogg's son has been offered a scholarship by the University of Notre Dame in Indiana.

Bosses at the institute are keen to recruit Cordell Broadus to play for their Fighting Irish football team in 2015.

The news was broken by Broadus' current coach at California's Diamond Bar High School, who tweeted, "Recruiting News: Cordell Broadus was offered by Notre dame today."

The Gin and Juice rapper's son, who plays in the wide receiver position, is now spoilt for choice with his further education - he already has scholarship offers from several other U.S. colleges.
