Snoop Dogg ''feels good'' about Dr. Dre's 'Detox' album, which is ''almost finished'' after being worked on since 2003.
The rapper - who was discovered by the record producer in 1992, and is a close friend and collaborator - "feels good" about the imminent release of the long delayed album, which Dre has been working on since 2003.
He told NME magazine: "I ain't never said it was almost finished. He might, but that's my first time I ever said it. I was always saying it was taking too long to get done. It feels good now.
"We've been working on it. It's almost finished. So that's coming out soon.
"We got Slim [Eminem] on it."
Dre has said 'Detox' will be his last album as an artist, and has so far released one preview single from it, 'I Need a Doctor', in February.
Snoop is also enjoying the current music scene in the UK, particularly 'Pass Out' rapper Tinie Tempah.
He said: "You know, I like Tinie Tempah. That guy's blowing up in the Sates. And you know, I'm into the dubstep thing, I like MistaJam. I got a dubstep mixtape out."
The 'Drop Like It's Hot' hitmaker is also starting a UK tour this week and promises fans are in for a treat.
He said: "Every time I come I just try and live it all onstage. I just try and give a good performance, no matter what the venue."
