Snoop Dogg is celebrating after a judge dismissed a lawsuit lodged against the hip-hop star for using an answer phone message on one of his albums.

The GIN + JUICE star used a minute long recorded message on his 2002 LP PAID THE COST TO BE THA BO$$, in which a man, calling himself JIM BOB, expressed his support for Snoop in his ongoing feud with the rappers former DEATH ROW label boss Marion 'Suge' Knight.

However, following the caller lodging a lawsuit in March last year (03) seeking compensation, America Superior Court Judge LAWRENCE W. CRISPO upheld a ruling that the man - who has remained anonymous due to fears for his safety - had no right to expect privacy over the recorded message, and had not filed a motion for the judge to reconsider.
