LATEST: Hip-hop stars Snoop Dogg and Sean Combs have been forced to cancel tonight's (27MAR07) London gig and the remainder of their UK concerts after visa problems.
Snoop Dogg was refused a visa to enter the UK by the country's Foreign and Commonwealth Office and attempts to reverse the decision were unsuccessful.
Authorities have not given a reason as to why his visa was declined, but last year (06), the rapper received a police caution for affray following a fight in a lounge at London's Heathrow Airport.
Days after his caution in May 2006, the UK Home Office said Snoop, real name CALVIN BROADUS, would be banned from the country for the "foreseeable future" due to his caution and his previous convictions for firearms and drugs offences in the US.
Despite the ban, Snoop and Combs scheduled five dates in the UK in March and April (07) as part of their European tour, which they have now cancelled.
A spokesman for the tour says, "With late notice of Snoop being denied a visa, time has run out and it is too late reconfigure the show. Snoop Dogg and Diddy are incredibly disappointed and devastated."
