Rap mogul SEAN 'P DIDDY' COMBS has revealed that he would love to executive produce Snoop Dogg's next album - but only if long-term producer Dr Dre isn't available.

BAD BOY boss Diddy admits to being a huge fan of the GIN 'N' JUICE singer but is being careful not to step on anyone's toes.

And his comments come just two weeks after Snoop announced that he and Diddy will be collaborating on more than just one track on his next record.

Diddy says, "I went to Snoop and I told him I want him to do his next album with Dre. As a fan, I love when him and Dre are together.

"But at the same time, if that don't work out, I want to get a crack at that next album. I'm trying to put together a movie for Snoop, a movie on wax. That's what we always loved when Dre and Snoop got together, it was a movie on wax."

It seems Diddy's respect for Snoop doesn't stop at his musical talents.

He says, "Snoop to me is the quintessential version of a rap superstar. His presence, his confidence onstage, in the studio...he's just so special and his energy is so positive.

"Whenever we've worked in the studio, which is a couple of times, he's open to taking direction. He doesn't feel he's too big to take direction."

Snoop's GANGSTA S**T - produced by Diddy and STEVIE J - is on the soundtrack to movie Bad Boys II and is released next week (begins14JUL03)
