Soul veteran Smokey Robinson tours the U.S. counselling drug addicts.
The Motown star battled his drug demons until 1986, when a church visit turned his life around, and he has been clean and sober ever since.
Robinson now takes it upon himself to help those suffering from substance abuse issues, and he travels around the U.S. to meet and give advice to addicts in his role as a drugs counsellor.
He tells Britain's Daily Mirror, "I did drugs for two and a half years and I was a walking corpse... so I talk to people who've been doing that for 20 years - and they are only 30 years old. How they could last for 20 years doing it I have no idea."
