Rocker Slash was forced to scramble for a venue on Wednesday (13Aug14) after learning tourmates Aerosmith had cancelled a show in Concord, California.

The band pulled the plug on the concert amid reports drummer Joey Kramer had fallen ill, prompting guitarist Slash and his band to look for an alternative gig.

Announcing the news on his WhoSay.com account, the former Guns N' Roses star wrote, "Due to powers beyond their control, Aerosmith have had to cancel tonight's performance at Concord Pavillion. But We are going to do a show tonight at the @FillmoreSf. Details to be announced shortly."

Slash then took to social media to confirm the gig and announce ticket details.

Aerosmith have yet to comment on reports concerning Kramer's health, while unconfirmed reports suggest a second show in Washington on Saturday (16Aug14) will also be scrapped.
