The legendary guitarist filed for divorce from his wife for the second time on Tuesday in Los Angeles.
After initially filing for divorce in August 2010, until they later reconciled and renewed their wedding vows in 2011, legendary guitarist Slash's 13-year marriage to Perla Ferrar may finally be over as he files the legal papers once again.
Slash and Perla have been married for 13 years
According to TMZ, the former Guns 'n' Roses musician filed for divorce in L.A. Tuesday (Dec 30th), citing 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason behind their separation, which Slash lists as occurring on June 15th. He is reportedly requesting joint physical and legal custody of sons London, 12, and Cash, 10.
Ferrar, who tied the knot with Slash on Oct 15th, 2001 in Hawaii, has been posting cryptic messages via social media as of late that seem to refer to her and the rocker's marital problems.
She firstly shared a message from SomeEcards, which read, "Why would I want to be alone with my thoughts? Have you heard some of the s--t that comes out of my mouth? I'm f--king nuts!" the post was captioned with, "Self professed... #iwarnedyou."
On the same day Ferrar shared another pic with the message that read, "Take time to do what makes your soul happy." This time the 39-year-old told her followers, "And a big face full of good night to you all on that note! #becauseimhappy."
The messages about her failed marriage continued on Wednesday (Dec 31st), as she captioned another Instagram photo with, "A friend reminded me of this today #true." The message in the pic read, "A single lie discovered is enough to create doubt in every truth expressed." A second photo message read, "The saddest thing about betrayal is that it never comes from your enemies. It comes from friends and loved ones." Ferrar added, "#surprise #figures #newyearnewlife."
Slash has yet to comment on his decision to file for divorce.
