Skinny Lister's debut single, Plough And Orion, is a double A-side which also features If The Gaff Don't Let Us Down. It will be released on April 9th, 2012, through Sunday Best Recordings. Their debut album, Forge and Flagon, will be released in June 2012.
The sweet video for Plough and Orion features real life couple Marie-Claire and Pete, who got engaged in front of the band, while they were on their Homemade Tour. As a result, the band promptly dedicated the song to them and invited them to star in their video. We see Marie-Claire and Pete read a letter by Skinny Lister, sending them on a scavenger hunt with a difference, as they walk to a train station and cycle to some moors, where the band have set up a romantic dinner in front of the sunset. They also perform Plough and Orion for the happy couple, as they sit in front of a bonfire.
Skinny Lister will be touring the US in March 2012, starting off at SXSW, before touring the country throughout March and April 2012. The band are renowned for their relentless touring, earning them the title of Hardest Working Band of 2011 and they will be celebrating the release of Forge and Flagon with appearances at various festivals throughout the summer.
