Blake, who created the iconic cover for The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album, has made a new pop art piece similar to his most famous work.
The mural is a montage of almost 400 celebrities who have appeared at the renowned London venue from 1871 to the present day, including famous figures such as Nelson Mandela, Diana, Princess of Wales and the Dalai Lima. They rub shoulders with musicians ranging from The Beatles to Wyman's band The Rolling Stones and relative newcomers One Direction and Beyonce.

The foursome posed for pictures as they partied at London's Royal Albert Hall in honour of Blake, famous for designing the cover of The Beatles' album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
The artist, who currently has an exhibition at the concert hall, was seen enjoying a drink with MCCartney and his wife Nancy Shevell, and later cut a cake in front of guests including Beatles producer Sir George Martin and Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page, according to Britain's Daily Mail newspaper.

The English pop artist chose a number of British cultural icons for the redesigned artwork to mark his 80th birthday, 45 years after he created the original piece.
The new patriotic cover features the flag of St. George, Peter's three daughters Liberty, Daisy and Rose, as well as a number of celebrities including Sir Ridley Scott, Kate Moss, Eric Clapton and late singer Amy Winehouse.

Kasabian were named Best British Band at the NME Awards tonight (29.02.12), which saw singer Tom Meighan pay tribute to The Monkees star Davy Jones, who died of a heart attack earlier today.
The 'Rewired' group beat off competition from Arctic Monkeys, Biffy Clyro, Foals and Muse to land the prize - and singer Tom Meighan used their acceptance speech to pay tribute to The Monkees lead singer Davy Jones, who died from a heart attack earlier today.
He said: ''Thank you, thank you, thank you. Listen before I go any further we lost a legend tonight Davy Jones from The Monkees died tonight - 66. This is for Davy Jones.''

Iconic British artist Sir Peter Blake has been appointed Artist-in-Residence for motorsports body Formula One.
And the man dubbed the godfather of British Pop Art - famed for designing the cover of the Beatles' Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album - says he couldn't be more excited about the prospect.
He admits, "I think I'm going to enjoy this very much."
Blake befriended SURFIN' USA hitmaker Brian Wilson and his former band in the 1960s, and was thrilled when the singer approached him to decorate their latest offering.
He says, "I have been working with Brian Wilson to produce a limited edition illustrated book of Pet Sounds' lyrics.
