Sir Paul McCartney never takes notice of The Beatles milestones, insisting he has no interest in marking important anniversaries or birthdays.
The Fab Four is frequently the subject of retrospective news features or Tv shows, and fans are bracing themselves for a host of 50th anniversary moments in 2015 as the band hit new heights in 1965.
However, bassist MCCartney is adamant he will not be taking part in any celebrations as he does his best to ignore nostalgic reminiscences.
He tells NME magazine, "I don't mark any of them. Someone says, 'Oh, this is the 50th anniversary of when you walked in Abbey Road or the 50th anniversary of your first single'. The truth is, I'm not counting!"
