Sir Paul McCartney's estranged wife Heather Mills has snapped up a presidential property in Slovenia. The mansion once belonged to the country's leader Janez Drnovsek, but is part of 2,200 government-owned properties now being sold. Mills is thought to have paid GBP400,000 for the holiday home and government spokesman Bozo Predalic says, "We are very happy with the price we agreed for this property that was one of the best in our portfolio." It is believed the animal rights activist was attracted to the area after previously working as a ski instructor in a nearby mountain area.
