Sir Paul McCartney's estranged wife Heather Mills has reportedly been dropped by animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) to safeguard future support from the former beatle's daughter MARY.
Photographer Mary only agreed to work on PETA's latest campaign after she was assured her stepmother, who is currently embroiled in a bitter divorce battle with the former BEATLE, was no longer involved with the organisation.
Mary took photos of British pop star Jamelia posing nude with a rabbit in London last week (begs29JAN07), and the photos will be published to coincide with the Brit Awards on 14 February (07).
A PETA spokesperson tells British newspaper the Sunday Telegraph, "We have no plans to work with Heather Mills."
Mills, who took part in a successful PETA campaign in 2005 targetting the trade in cat and dog fur across the European Union, was not available for comment as WENN went to press.
