Sir Paul McCartney is unfazed by the prospect of being stalked, even though his former THE Beatles bandmates John Lennon and George Harrison were subjected to savage attacks by crazed fans.

Lennon was shot dead by Mark Chapman outside his apartment building in New York City in 1980, while Harrison was fortunate to survive a knife attack at his English mansion in 1999

But brave McCartney refuses to become a paranoid superstar and lock himself away from the world - he believes fate determines the timing of his death.

He says, "I never get worried about things like that - it wouldn't stop me doing what I do. When your time's up, your time's up. Who knows when that is?"
