Sir Paul McCartney begged New York photographers and cameramen to leave him alone during a confrontation yesterday (07NOV06), during which he accused them of harassing him. MCCartney was on his way to a New York airport when he took offence to the army of paparazzi on his tail. The former beatle, who is currently embroiled in a bitter divorce with estranged wife Heather Mills, stopped his car, stepped out and pleaded to be left in peace. He said, "OK guys, you're getting your photo, I'm being very nice to you... I'm asking you not to follow me. There's no reason to harass me, OK?"
