Sir Paul McCartney's wife HEATHER wants to turn her name into a trademark
and launch her own range of cosmetics.
The former model, who lost a leg in a car accident in 1993, wants to use
her married name, Heather Mills-MCCARTNEY, to promote an American line of
artificial limbs - and her application to the US PATENT AND TRADEMARK OFFICE
says she may add her
name to beauty products too.
But a spokesperson for the 34-year-old insists she's not trying to profit
out of the prosthetics venture: "When she filed the application she was advised
to put in anything else she might be interested in in the future, like perfume
cosmetics, but she has no immediate plans to do that."
