Singtank's debut single, The Party, will be released in February 2012 and is taken from their forthcoming album In Wonder, which will be released on May 7th. The duo will be performing at the Barfly in London on February 8th and performing new songs from their upcoming album.
The video for The Party is relatively short at just over two minutes and sees the pair searching for each other in a mountain of doors, by entering through one and leaving via a completely different door.
Singtank are siblings Josephine and Alexandre de la Baume. They already have support from fashion icon Kate Moss, as well as the magazine Dazed & Confused. Josephine may be well known to some people as the wife of successful DJ and musician Mark Ronson. She is also an actress, appearing in the films One Day and Johnny English Reborn.
As musicians, the French duo has been heavily influenced by The Pixies and Pulp. When working on their debut album, they had the help of Nellee Hooper (U2; Massive Attack; Bjork) and Alan O'Connell (The Gossip; Placebo).
The first single from Interpol's eagerly anticipated sixth studio album 'The Rover' has dropped alongside a video.
'Jumpsuit' is just one of two singles, including 'Nico and the Niners', released ahead of Twenty One Pilots' latest album 'Trench'.
They unveiled a new video showing the making of the record.
