Review of Someone Like You Single by Soulmagic
Soulmagic release 'Someone Like You' on Soulmagic Recordings and this latest release is already making headway in the Traxsource singles chart and gaining recognition. This Danish duo are clearly lovers of quality house music having worked with some serious artists already in their career. 'Someone Like You' certainly hits the right notes with regards to house music, with all the classic, positive aspects of soulful house with standard house rhythms, funky bass and an uplifting vocal from Janus who brings the track sweet melody. There's some nice re-works on this single from Matt Early, my particular favourite from Kings of Groove and, finally, Alfred Azzetto. All in all, this is a classy house track that I'm sure will be a long player this summer.
