'Star Trek Into Darkness' star Simon Pegg admitted to Carrie Fisher he would kiss his poster of her dressed as 'Star Wars' character Princess Leia before he went to bed ever night.
He told the 'Star Wars' actress about his ''crush'' on her, admitting he would kiss a poster featuring her as Princess Leia before he went to bed each evening.
He told The Sun newspaper: ''Princess Leia was my first crush and I really remember those feelings of longing for her.
''Speaking to Carrie years later and telling her about it, she asked me if I felt better for telling her I kissed her picture every night before I went to bed every night, and I said yes, I did.
''I think she thought it was kind of strange.''
Carrie - along with Harrison Ford (Han Solo) and Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) - is rumoured to be returning for the new 'Star Wars' film due out in 2015.
Despite sharing director J J Abrams with 'Star Trek Into Darkness' - in which Simon stars as engineer Montgomery 'Scotty' Scott - the actor won't be asking for a part alongside his crush.
He said: ''I would never go up to him and ask him, because if he wants me he'll ask me, and if he doesn't, he won't. I won't be upset about that.
''I will be thrilled to watch a new 'Star Wars' film, but in a way I would prefer not to be in it, then I can watch it as a fan and not have it spoiled by me.
''And perhaps J J wants to keep the two universes separate - I totally get that. It probably rules me out.''
