Comic actor Simon Pegg admits he has kissed ''quite a few'' men in his lifetime in an interview in the new issue of Reader's Digest magazine.
Simon Pegg has revealed he has "snogged quite a few" men in his lifetime.
The 'Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn' star admits he has always been an enthusiastic friend and used to greet many of his male pals with a "full-on" kiss.
Simon - who is married to Maureen McCann with whom he has a two-year-old daughter - told Reader's Digest magazine: "I don't know why exactly, but I've snogged quite a few blokes over the years. When I was at school, me and my friend Kyle always seemed to be kissing. Then, years later, when Nick (Frost) and I were hanging out in London, if we met any male friends during a night out we'd greet them with a full-on snog. The only excuse I can offer is that I've read somewhere that the Hells Angels like to do the same thing in order to freak people out. I'm happily married now - to a lady."
Simon - who is The Godfather of his friends Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow's seven-year-old daughter Apple - also confessed he and his comedy partner Nick Frost shared a bed when they lived together in London.
The 41-year-old star admits he and his 39-year-old friend's unconventional sleeping arrangement lasted for months.
He said: "Nick's my best friend - we were one another's best men. When we met Nick was a waiter. He had a lovely life and had absolutely no ambition to be an actor. When we moved in together we only had one bed between us, so we had to top and tail the way people do in the movies. You'd probably think we got sick of that after a couple of nights; in fact we slept together in that fashion for the best part of a year!"
The full interview with Simon Pegg appears is the October issue of Reader's Digest, in shops September 28.
