British funnyman Simon Pegg is relieved his hit comedy show SPACED isn't to be reworked into a U.S. series - because he always hated the idea.
The Run Fat Boy Run star admits he came up with the idea for the cult show during a very important time in his life and the idea of his brainchild becoming a Fox network sitcom, which was to be directed by Charlie's Angels filmmaker McG, made him uncomfortable.
He says, "I wrote Spaced coming off of a really serious relationship, and I sublimated a lot of my anguish into it.
"So to have some guy from Will + Grace rewrite it doesn't sit well with me."
