Simon Cowell is set to make a surprise appearance on Piers Morgan's new CNN chat-show.
SIMON COWELL, the music mogul who is currently putting the finishing touches to his forthcoming US version of 'The X Factor', is set to be interviewed by PIERS MORGAN for the journalist's new chat-show, according to RTE.Morgan announced the news on his Twitter page, revealing that the interview will be filmed in Hollywood next week. The 45-year-old tweeted, "BREAKING NEWS: Just booked my old friend Simon Cowell for my CNN show - recording next week in LA. Now THIS will be fun". So far, Morgan's most high-profile guests have included Oprah Winfrey, Howard Stern and Sharon Stone. During a recent interview on BBC Radio 4, Larry King suggested that Morgan had "oversold" himself since taking over his slot on CNN. However, the British journalist confronted King about the remarks when he interviewed him on the show, saying, "I have spent the last few months saying following you is like following Frank Sinatra. I couldn't have paid you higher praise. You come in my backyard and say I'm an oversold, undangerous TV host". King replied by saying he felt the show's performance has been disappointing given how much the promos had promised.
SIMON COWELL is known to be good friends with Morgan and the pair shared judging responsibilities on the reality show 'Britain's Got Talent'.
