Simon Cowell ''misses'' doing 'X Factor' in the UK and he's admitted he's interested in the prospect of being cloned to appear in the ITV1 show.
The US 'X Factor' judge admitted he is interested in the prospect of being cloned to appear in the UK version of the talent show because he loved starring on the ITV1 programme in the UK.
Speaking to Channel 5 News: ''I don't think this year. I wouldn't rule out another year. I do miss doing it here.''
Simon confirmed plans to include Olympians and Paralympians as mentors in this year's 'X Factor' and admitted Paralympic GB swimmer Ellie Simmonds is welcome to appear on the show because she's a ''star''.
He added: ''I think we're going to do something around the Olympics on one of the live shows so they're all welcome.
''We like having heroes on our shows.''
But Bradley Wiggins - who won an Olympic gold medal at the London 2012 tournament last month - looks unlikely to appear on 'X Factor' after he previously slammed claims he will appear on the show.
He recently said: ''Let's not talk about the 'X Factor'. Compared to the Olympics everywhere you went the country was on a high, and as athletes it was phenomenal to see that.
''Then you see the 'X Factor' and it's like, 'Oh God, everyone's got to put up with that all winter now.' ''
