A woman has appeared in court accused of trying to attack 'X Factor' and 'Britain's Got Talent' mogul Simon Cowell, according to the Evening Standard. Leanne Zaloumis, aged 29, allegedly hid on a shelf in a walk-in wardrobe after breaking into the 52-year-old's home. In a London court today (March 24, 2012) Zaloumis spoke only to confirm her name, age and address, before being read the charge of aggravated burglary with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Speaking on the 'This Morning Show,' Cowell's spokesperson Max Clifford had explained what had happened to Cowell, "Simon got back from Britain's Got Talent and was sitting watching Jonathan Ross when there was suddenly a huge crash," explained the PR guru, continuing "He went to investigate and there was a woman standing there." Thankfully for Cowell, help was close at hand; "His housekeeper was there and his security was close by so she was quickly apprehended," explained Clifford, "It was terrifying, but as Simon said, 'You've got to say I was lucky.' Last night when I spoke to him he was still shaky but settled down," he added.
Cowell's under plenty of stress as it is with the Bbc's 'The Voice' debuting at the weekend to decent viewing figures. Though 'Britain's Got Talent' got the upper hand, more people were watching 'The Voice' during the 20 minute period when the shows overlapped.
