Simon Cowell has debuted the US 'X Factor' preview broadcast, which sees him in a ''nightmare'' scenario, where he is being nice to bad singers.
The broadcast features the music mogul in a "nightmare" scenario, wearing a Pink knitted jumper and sitting alongside fellow panellists Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger and L.A Reid during an audition, which sees him praise a girl who sings very badly.
He explained: "I sort of 'dreamt' the promo - seriously I did. I woke up and I can't remember whether it was a nightmare or a dream but I remember laughing when I woke up and I quickly wrote it down.
"The idea was what was the most inappropriate thing I could wear and it was either going to be pink or yellow - so we got all these sweaters and the pink one just stood out!"
The promo also features Simon - who was dubbed Mr. Nasty after his harsh judging style in the UK version of the show - doing a voiceover, in which he is being overly nice.
In the clip, he says: "I wanna make people's dreams come true. I even think about the environment."
