Music mogul Simon Cowell is returning to the U.K. as a judge on his Britain's Got Talent Tv show to make it the "biggest, most successful series yet".
Cowell left the line-up to concentrate on launching his The X Factor competition in America earlier this year (11).
He hired David Hasselhoff to take his place on the judging panel alongside Amanda Holden and stand-up comedian Michael MCIntyre, but he axed the Baywatch star after just one season.
Cowell has now decided to return to the show to boost the series' waning popularity, according to his TV boss.
Itv chief executive Adam Crozier told reporters on Wednesday (07Dec11) Cowell's return has been confirmed, adding, "Simon wants to make it the biggest, most successful series yet. His presence will be a guaranteed ratings winner as he is so popular with viewers."
