Cowell shot down magician Lee's performance rather brutally on Wednesday night.
Simon Cowell incurred the wrath of several viewers last night when he complimented a female ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ contestant on her appearance but not her act, saying that she had “nice legs”.
30 year old magician Josephine Lee scored well with ‘BGT’ fans watching at home with her performance during Wednesday night’s show (May 31st), which was notable because she was conducting her tricks not to a background tracking of music, but to a spoken-word voiceover soundtrack about female empowerment.
Judges David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden all praised Lee, but Cowellwas not impressed with her performance. “I don’t think you’ve got the showmanship. I get it you’re a girl – you don’t want to be the assistant but I got a bit sick of it.”

Cowell and the 'Britain's Got Talent' judges were left surprised when a 37-strong choir left the stage rather than face a dressing down from the panel during auditions in Blackpool.
‘Britain’s Got Talent’ head honcho Simon Cowell was left staggered after one of the acts auditioning for a place in this year’s series simply walked off stage, rather than remain to face criticism from him.
A report emerging on Friday (January 20th) claims that the extraordinary reaction came during auditions this week in Blackpool, when a 37-strong choir called Dale Divas had attempted to impress the panel of judges, headed by Cowell, with a version of Adele’s ‘Rolling In the Deep’.

Holden revealed that earlier this year Walliams became very ‘p**sed off’ with Cowell, after he joked about his recent divorce from model Lara Stone.
David Walliams was left shocked when Simon Cowell mentioned his divorce during ‘BGT’.

Smoking is an expensive habit, especially for music mogul Simon Cowell.
