Yesterday, (Friday 14th September), the Royals issued a statement detailing that they would be seeking legal action against the French magazine, however the Italian magazine has decided that despite this they will go on and print the pictures regardless. Both Closer and Chi are owned by former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi's Mondadori media group. In a statement from Chi editor Alfonso Signorini, he said, "The fact that these are the future rulers of England makes the article more interesting and topical.[this] is a deserving topic because it shows in a completely natural way the daily life of a very famous, young and modern couple in love."
