Fans of Icelandic rockers Sigur Ros can now recreate the smell of the band's studio space in the form of a new candle.

The group is selling a custom Varoeldur candle, which smells like a "driftwood campfire".

On Sigur Ros' website, the odd new item is described as having "the smoky, slightly briny smell of a flotsam campfire on a distant black beach under a wan midnight sun".

The candle, which has been "specially developed to the band's olfactory specifications" and "burns for 35 evocative hours of instant Iceland", has been named after a track on the band's Valtari album.
