Shia LaBeouf is digging holes again, but this time for himself, as he reveals to his girlfriend that the sex scenes in his upcoming film, The Nymphomaniac will be totally real, reports the New York Daily News.
Photos showed Karolyn Pho, 23, breaking down into tears as she argued with her
Transformers star boyfriend. Not wanting to draw any more attention to the subject, she had this to say: "It's none of anybody's business. Everything is fine with us. It was nothing affiliated with his movie." LaBeouf is gaining somewhat of a reputation, after appearing naked in Icelandic art-rockers Sigur Ros's new video. All-action sex scenes, however, appear to have crossed the line with the 26-year-olds other half.
The controversial Danish director Lars Von Trier, whose antics at 2011's Cannes Film Festival ended in a rather awkward and embarrassing exit, directs the film. The headlines are never far away from Von Trier, and his decision to include genuine sex scenes in his new film terrified his staff. "He's very dangerous, you know. He's like the most dangerous dude that I've ever showed up for. I'm terrified. I'm so terrified, which is why I have to go," LaBeouf told MTV.
Whatever happens, the intrigue around the film's content will have provided Von Trier with some fantastic PR, even if it does mean an expensive bouquet of flowers and a million 'I'm sorrys' for his lead man. The Nymphomaniac is due to hit movie theatres Dec. 31, 2013.
