Troubled actor Shia LaBeouf pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct at a New York court hearing on Wednesday (10Sept14).

The Transformers star appeared at Manhattan Criminal Court following his arrest earlier this year (14) and admitted his guilt over a fracas at a theatre in the Big Apple.

Judge Diana Boyar ordered the actor to complete six months of alcohol rehabilitation treatment, which he is three months into. The criminal charges will be removed from his file if he maintains his good behaviour.

LaBeouf was charged with criminal trespassing and two counts of disorderly conduct after disrupting a performance of Cabaret at Manhattan venue Studio 54 in June this year (14).

Eyewitnesses said he was walking through the theatre in a ripped shirt, refused to stop smoking inside the venue, and chased a homeless man outside.

Once he was detained by cops, it was alleged LaBeouf also spat at officers and screamed, "Do you know who the f**k I am?"

The actor is due to return to court on 12 November (14) for a compliance.
