The 29 year old is featured in the YouTube.com footage shirtless and surrounded by a small group of onlookers as he shows off his rapping skills by performing what appears to be a freestyle, in which he compares himself to late hip-hop icon Tupac Shakur and takes a swipe at his Transformers blockbusters.

It is not clear when the clip was recorded, but LaBeouf has since come under fire for allegedly lifting some of the lines from the Anomolies' track Perfectionist.

Taking to Instagram.com, bandmember Pri the Honeydark vents, "You can't rip songs from my ANOMOLIES crew, recite them in a freestyle as your own, get credit for it, then not expect to be called out by ACTUAL MCs!"

LaBeouf has yet to respond to the criticism, but it isn't the first time he has been accused of copying other artists' work. Last year (14), he was threatened with legal action from comic book artist Daniel Clowes, amid allegations the movie star's short film Howard Cantour, which he directed, was based on Clowes' graphic novel, Justin M. Damiano.

The eccentric actor subsequently offered up a series of public apologies to the author through Twitter.com and even hired a skywriting plane to spell out his regret in the clouds above Los Angeles .
