Shia LaBeouf's former Tv co-star Christy Carlson Romano has thrown her support behind the troubled actor, insisting he will be "fine" in the aftermath of his arrest.

The Transformers actor suffered a public meltdown last month (Jun14) when he was arrested for disrupting a Broadway production of Cabaret and charged with disorderly conduct, criminal trespass and harassment.

A representative for LaBeouf later revealed the star is receiving treatment for alcohol addiction.

His former Even Stevens co-star Carlson Romano has now spoken out about LaBeouf's troubles, and she is adamant her former colleague will bounce back.

She tells Fox411, "I think he's such a talented person. I think he's going to be fine... Men seem to be able to come through of (sic) whatever they have going on publicly much easier than female actresses. He's just so talented, too, that I think everyone will be able to push forward through whatever it is he's going to be going through in the future, too."
