The actress was first diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2015 and has been documenting her treatments on Instagram. So far the 45-year-old has undergone a single mastectomy and chemotherapy and has now finished radiation therapy.

The show is the latest to see a re-boot.
'Charmed' is set to return as news of a re-boot arises. The new series will air on The CW and has been created by the people behind 'Jane The Virgin'. It is expected to be set during the 70s, and is somehow connected to events in the original series.
The original show - starring Holly Marie Combs, Shannen Doherty and Alyssa Milano - ran for eight seasons between 1998 and 2006 on The WB Network, and will make a return more than 10 years later with 'Jane the Virgin' creator Jennie Snyder Urman.

Doherty will play a “pivotal” role in the TV pilot.
Shannen Doherty has confirmed she will be part of the upcoming pilot for the TV reboot of 1988 film Heathers.
Doherty starred as Heather Duke in the original black comedy, which also featured Winona Ryder and Christian Slater.
The pilot is being produced by TV Land and has not yet been picked up for a full series.

Over a year after she revealed her battle with breast cancer to the world, actress Shannen Doherty has decided to let her Instagram followers take the journey with her as she shared a series of photos of herself shaving her head.
The former ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ star, aged 45, posted six black-and-white photos of herself undergoing the emotional process of cutting off her hair in stages. The first picture showed her embracing her mother, Rosa Elizabeth Doherty, with the final snap displaying a new mohawk, as she conducted the haircutting in front of the mirror herself.
Doherty, also a central cast member of long-running fantasy series ‘Charmed’ for its first three seasons, was joined by a friend who appeared to take the pictures for her as she posted them on Wednesday (July 20th).

Cancer's a terrible thing, and even the stars aren't immune.
As if Lil Boosie didn't have enough to deal with having just been released from prison, the rapper has now revealed that he's been diagnosed with kidney cancer as he pleads with fans to pray for him as he attempts to overcome his latest battle.

It's not the first time Boosie (real name Torrence Hatch and now professionally known as Boosie Badazz) has had health issues either; the Louisiana lyricist revealed in 2006 that he had diabetes, and his health can't have been helped by the subsequent five years he spent behind bars. Let's just hope that this time he doesn't have a death sentence.
