Now that the movie has been released and the cast’s promotional duties are all but over, TFiOS star Shailene Woodley plans to take step away from the screen for a while, as she waits for the next script that catches her eye. In the meantime, Woodley will be pursuing other creative endeavors, the leading lady told V Magazine in a recent interview.

“"I'm going to lie low and explore some of life's other artistic facets,” Shailene explained.

As for TFIOS, in it Woodley plays a teenager, living with cancer, who falls in love with a fellow survivor, goes on an adventure and discovers what it means to truly be alive. She stars opposite Ansel Elgort, with whom the young actress also shared some screentime in Divergent. In the Veronica Roth adaptation, Woodley and Elgort’s characters are brother and sister, but he plays the love interest in TFIOS. In reality, the two are just good friends, although Woodley has had to defend the platonic relationship in numerous interviews.
