Ron Livingston would not want to return to 'Sex and the City' if a third movie was made because the film's cast would ''string him up'' for the way he treated Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker).
Ron Livingston would not return to 'Sex And The City'.
The 42-year-old actor - who played Carrie Bradshaw's boyfriend Jack Berger in series six of the television series - admits he cannot envisage a return if a third instalment of the movie gets made because of how he dumped Carrie by post-it note.
Asked if he would consider a return, Ron told BANG Showbiz: "I'm a huge fan of the show. I'm really proud to be part of that story. But after the whole post-it thing I can't imagine what they would do other than string me up by my toes. So, I don't know. I've never been strung up by my toes, so maybe it could be fun!"
Ron was speaking at the National Movie Awards in London, where his recent film 'The Time Traveller's Wife' - in which he plays the role of Gomez - picked up the Breakthrough Movie prize, and he admits it was a project he enjoyed working on.
He said: "It's a beautiful story. It's a Love Story. But it's unlike a love story because it doesn't have a beginning, a middle, and an end. You never quite know where it's going.
"There's something about any of us who have ever been in love - there's always an element of not being quite sure where you stand. Sometimes you feel like an old man in a relationship and sometimes you feel like a nine-year-old. But when I first read the book I thought it was just wonderful."
