Former Sex And The City actress Kim Cattrall found opting out of the
eagerly-anticipated big screen version of the show the "most difficult" career
decision she's ever made.
The blonde beauty - who played lusty PR woman Samantha Jones in the
raunchy comedy - broke the hearts of fans all over the world when she announced
she was dropping out of the film project at the last minute.
Her decision provoked curt remarks from co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker and
Willie Garson, but Cattrall maintains she made the right choice.
She says, "Life is really about beginnings and endings and this is one of
the hardest, most difficult decisions that I've made in my personal and
"I had six amazing years with the Sex and the City family and I just
wanted to thank all the fans because I've had so much support."
Although some of the show's stars reportedly e-mailed producer MICHAEL
PATRICK KING with suggestions of killing off Samantha to keep the project
afloat, King is adamant the film will now "never happen".
