Seth & Alexi exchanged vows on Sunday, 1 September
The Saturday Night Live writer and oft-star Meyers proposed to his girlfriend a little over a month ago and with seemingly no time to spare the two married promptly in a secret ceremony that was littered with famous faces. US Weekly were the first to report the celebrity wedding, noting that the couple held a rehearsal dinner outside at the Beetlebung Farm House the night before the big day.
The newlyweds, dressed in a cap sleeve lace dress and a dark colored suit respectively, were then joined by around 150 guests at the ceremony on Sunday, with famous friends and Saturday Night Live co-stars making up a hefty proportion of the guest list. Among the guests included Olivia Wilde, Allison Williams, Rose Byrne, Jimmy Fallon, Jack McBrayer, Bobby Cannavale, Ayaan Hirsi, Mike Shoemaker, Niall Ferguson, Jake Gyllenhaal as well as SNL stars of past and present, including, Jason Sudeikis, Kristen Wiig, Will Forte, Kenan Thompson and writer Colin Jost.
It's a double whammy of great news for Meyers as he is not only married now, but he is also going to be taking over from pal Jimmy Fallon as host of NBC's Late Night as a married man. Fallon meanwhile is replacing Jay Leno as host of The Tonight Show, with both changes happening in 2014.
Congratulations to the two on their happy day!
