In an interview with Seth Meyers, Shelton said that his divorce from Miranda Lambert would be the "elephant in the room" at the CMAs.
The 39 year old was interviewed on NBC’s ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’ on Tuesday (October 27th), and revealed that he’s prepared for a few laughs at his expense, after he and his ex-wife Lambert, 31, announced their split earlier this summer. The ceremony is taking place on November 4th at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, and will be hosted by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley.

Annoyingly, curvy reality star Kim Kardashian is now so good at posing in front of a camera that she even manages to maintain that seductive aura even while holding a novelty clown nose to her face, but many other celebrities provided some well needed laughs on this momentous occasion.
The English actor, who plays Jon Snow in 'Game of Thrones', made the comments on 'Late Night with Seth Meyers'
‘Game Of Thrones’ actor Kit Harington has got himself into a war of words with Northern Irish tourism officials after the actor branded the nation’s capital Belfast as “depressing” on a late night American chat show.
The London-born actor, who plays Jon Snow in the popular HBO drama, made the remark during Tuesday night’s (April 7th) episode of ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’ when he was asked by the presenter whether he felt it was unfair that he was based in Belfast whereas his ‘GoT’ co-stars got to film in other, more exotic locations.

The 61-year-old actor belted out some fan-written lyrics to the film's iconic theme tune
There can be no one who was alive in the early 1990s that does not regard Jurassic Park as the ultimate classic. And it seems that fans across the globe are not the only ones that hold the dinosaur drama in high regard, with actor Jeff Goldblum, who starred in the celebrated adventure film alongside Sam Neill, Laura Dern and the late, great Richard Attenborough, also has a soft spot for JP.

Meyers will serve up the laughs as this year's Emmy host.
Seth Meyers has been announced as the host of the 2015 Emmy awards this August. This caps off a great year for Meyers, who recently went from head writer for SNL and host of the show’s recurring Weekend Update segment to hosting his own late night show. Meyers took over NBC’s Late Night from Jimmy Fallon, after Fallon moved on to Tonight in the place of Jay Leno. It was a bit like a game of musical chairs over at NBC, but the white male hosts all managed to come out on top.
Seth Meyers is having a very successful year.
The Television academy confirmed Meyers’ appointment on Thursday, in keeping with the tradition of picking the host from the pool at the network, broadcasting the Emmys – in this case, NBC. The network will air the event, arguably the biggest night in television, on Monday, August 25. This schedule means that the Emmys take place in the last week before the new fall television season begins each year. The Emmy ceremony is typically broadcast on a Sunday, but this year, being broadcast on NBC, the Emmys would interfere with the NFL's “Sunday Night Football,” and so the Emmys are being moved to the next available date.

Could you be the next big thing in comedy writing?
NBC are on the hunt for a new generation of "untapped talent" and have put out a call for "fresh comedic voices" who will be given the chance to pitch their best sitcom ideas to both the channel's top dogs and comedy royalty in a new national campaign. From the 1st May this year, aspiring comedy writers will be asked to submit their ideas to be considered for both digital and network comedy shows.
'Parks And Recreation' Star Aziz Ansari Could Be Judging Your Work!
"Entrants may submit up to two video samples (5-10 minutes each) of their pre-existing work, along with up to two video pitches (2-5 minutes per pitch), each describing a unique, original show idea," according to NBC Comedy Playground.

Seth Meyers started out slow, but kicked things into gear, thanks to an appearance by Kanye West.
Kicking things up a notch since Monday, on Tuesday Late Night with Seth Meyers included a memorable appearance by Kanye West. Yeezy performed a career-spanning medley, including his most iconic songs – Jesus Walks, Touch The Sky, Stronger, Heartless, All of the Lights, Mercy and Black Skinhead. West’s appearance included an interview with Meyers, during which the rapper was remarkably mellow and charming. Then he unleashed a torrent of classic West stage shenanigans, followed by the obligatory mic drop.
West came on Meyers' second night (dubbed by the host "Seth Meyers: Deuces") to liven things up.
Of course Kanye, self-proclaimed creative genius that he is, isn’t just resting on old laurels. West is currently working, or will work on a film, written by Brett Easton Ellis especially for him. Ellis explained that he had been reluctant to take on the project at first, but then had his mind changed last summer.

You can take Meyers out of SNL, but you can't take SNL out of the host.
NBC stars definitely like to keep it in the family. So when it came time for Seth Meyers to pick someone to lead the band on his newly acquired show Late Night (previously hosted by Jimmy Fallon, who has moved on to The Tonight Show), Meyers picked a familiar face. According to TV Guide, he tapped former SNL co-star Fred Armisen, who has plenty of musical experience alongside his comedy work.
Armisen obviously has the experience Meyers needs, just look at this picture of him holding a guiter.
Before going into comedy, Armisen played drums in the punk rock band Trenchmouth and in the Blue Man group back in the 1990s. He also often played musical instruments during sketches on SNL. Armisen, who left SNL last year, is currently starring in and executive producing his IFC comedy series Portlandia, alongside co-star and co-creator Carrie Brownstein. However, Meyers mentioned this in the announcement and it sounds like the comedian’s new commitment won’t interfere with his Portlandia duties (thankfully).
Seth Meyers has made his first decision as the new host of 'Late Night', the 39 year-old has brought his former SNL co-star Fred Armisen to front the show's 8G Band.
It is good to have friends in high places!
When Fallon left to host 'The Tonight Show', so did the musical feature, and filling that gap will be Armisen as his new role is the leader of the 8G Band.
