Seth Macfarlane gets paranoid disgruntled fans will do ''something'' to his food when he orders pizza.
The 40-year-old star, who lends his voice to numerous characters in 'Family Guy', gets particularly concerned about ordering take out because staff might recognise his vocals and mess with his order and has even taken to changing his speech to stay incognito.
Speaking on US talk show 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', he said: ''I get nervous very nervous when I call to order a pizza. If this person on the other end of the phone recognises my voice and isn't a fan of 'Family Guy' they'll gonna something to my food.
''So I kinda try to adopt a shrill whisper because anything that sounds nothing like myself to preserve my food.''
Show host Ellen responded saying: ''That sounds even creepier.''
Seth added: ''As it was coming out I thought, 'This was wrong'.''
Seth's 'A Million Ways to Die in the West' co-star Charlize Theron recently described him as one of the most memorable people she has ever met and will always cherish their time working together.
She said: ''He's definitely the kind of person that from afar fascinates me. Then you have this opportunity to know someone, and when they don't let you down, that's such a gift. The thing you remember when you're 80 and lying on your deathbed is that. I'll remember the friendship and working with Seth on this movie.''
